The application for the March 2026 session of the CSW is closed. The application for the March 2027 session will be published in November 2026.

GLI and the Feminist Majority Foundation are recognized non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in good standing with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). ECOSOC status allows us to participate in UN events, including the annual session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW).

Every March, GLI student delegates join over 5,000 NGO representatives, UN member state representatives, and agency staff at UN headquarters for workshops and events focused on the CSW’s priority and review themes. Participating in the GLI delegation to the UN CSW is incredible opportunity to engage with global women’s rights leaders and contribute to meaningful change!

Email the GLI at the UN team with questions.

GLI believes that girls’ voices should be heard in all the places where decisions are being made that impact their lives. This includes the UN!
