Student-to-student, GLI is building a movement of informed advocates for human rights and
a new generation of leaders and activists for social change.
Take Action
GLI empowers students who are making a difference at their schools and in their communities. Want to make a positive change where you live?
Chapters

An online, interactive resource free to all GLI Chapters, The Guidebook contains more than 50 meeting guides for students to explore.

Chapter Map
GLI has more than 160 Chapters in 26 U.S. states and 18 countries.

I’ve loved working with my school’s GLI Chapter. I’ve learned how to organize people and work towards a cause that I really believe in. GLI has also provided me with an outstanding support network through which I’ve been able to work with leaders from other Chapters and make lifelong friends. I’m definitely going to be able to use my leadership skills in college to continue my social activism and to use my voice to make a difference.

Through GLI, I learned how to take action on important issues. Being a GLI Chapter leader taught me a lot about responsibility that I will for sure use in all parts of my life.

The most rewarding thing about GLI was the community we built through the GLI club at my school.

I had the fantastic opportunity to be a Youth Delegate for GLI at UN CSW63, and it was probably one of the greatest experiences of my life. I got to participate in conversations about global injustice to an extent I never had before, and I met dozens of other similarly-minded young people who had already accomplished so many great things.
